About the Teacher: My name is Katelyn Dunbar and I am your son or daughter's new Kindergarten teacher. I know this is a big step for both you and your child, as they are starting their first year in school! So to make you feel a little more comfortable, I will tell you about myself. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. I have known since the time I was a child that I wanted to be a teacher. However, my only sibling is 11 years younger than me, and seeing her grow to the 3rd grader she is now is probably the main reason I wanted to pursue teaching. I studied Early Childhood Education at University of Central Florida. I am very excited for this year. Feel free to contact me whenever needed. See you soon!
